十八世紀法國大革命，正是新舊秩序交替的黃金時刻，狄更斯以此為背景，創作了舉世知名的《雙城記》，
講述一場基層與貴族的新仇舊恨引發出來的悲劇。狄法芝夫婦唯一親兒被侯爵的馬車輾斃，引發二人朝着侯爵姪兒查爾士·丹尼發起了復仇大計。查爾士與奴詩相戀，卻不知道未來外父被侯爵所害，坐了18 年冤獄，而查爾士的貴族後人身份也令他身陷囹圄。在大時代裏拼命掙扎的還有契尼，因着對奴詩的愛，找到救贖。
由英國班底製作，運用簡約寫實風格及現代手法重新建構狄更斯名著《雙城記》， 2016 年在香港及英國愛丁堡國際藝穗節(Edinburgh Festival Fringe) 巡演英文版，口碑載道。2023 年，中英再度邀請英國班底來港製作中文版本。在幽暗無望的時代洪流中，各人懷抱着各自的傷痛、仇恨丶信念，走向屬於自己的歸屬。
