Alive in the Mortuary (Excerpt)- A Programme of Arts Relief for SARS
P200304-03
Description
The play is inspired by stories told by volunteers of Médecins Sans Frontières. It tells of the struggle of a surgeon trapped in a field hospital mortuary during an attack by two local warring factions. The situation is so desperate, with the slightest noise from outside filling him with terror, that he ends up in a state of mental alienation, meets an engineer and his life changes.
