Deep into the forest the little runaway lovers flee, and the workmen are there to have their clumsy rehearsal of a tragedy, while the Duke is fluffing up his fantasy in the dream forest. Being the incarnation of the Duke, the fairy king Oberon is in war with the fairy queen Titania. All those who have entered the forest become the victims of the war. They are in no way escaping from their fantasy tricks, ending up in mismatched lovers and weird love illusions.
