The story took place in 1991 as the Soviet Union was in a political turmoil. The National Theatre Company originally supported by "The National Arts Development Unit' has become independent and regained freedom of arts after the revolution. But it costs them a secured living and the full-house sales. Now, the Russian classic tragedy The Three Sisters has been scheduled as their first new production after independence. Yet, the pressure of survival has turned into anxiety and fear which drive all the members paranoid. Even The Three Sisters has been hastily adapted into a vulgar comic musical!
