Be A Gentleman Of No Desire
In a Karaoke lounge, a civil servant drowns his sorrows, escaping from everyday reality into a dream world of popular songs and sentiment. Although "be a gentleman of no desire" is his pet phrase, he is actually a man of many desires and worries - will he get promoted? Is his wife having an affair?
Can he afford to emigrate? Actor Alan Wong plays out these and other questions in his first one-man show, in re-run.
Part-time Angel
One day, Mr. Green, a candy wholesaler, disappears. His wife has no idea where he is. Others see him wandering through the streets, telling different stories to different people. The play ends in an unexpected and imaginative way.
In Part-time Angel, his writing debut for Chung Ying, Cheung Tat Ming gives a new twist to communication problems between husband and wife.
