I Am Hong Kong
P198586-10
Description

I am Hong Kong explores the challenges which Hong Kong now poses to a group of young people — six Chinese, one British. Commencing with a 'cartoon' view of the last century and a half, this series of sketches and songs becomes involved with present-day Hong Kong - its accomplishment, its resentment and its hopes. Finally, through the developing relationships between individuals within the group, the seven actors energetically explore different attitudes to the future of Hong Kong - a future that is in the minds, not only of those living in Hong Kong today, but within the conscience of the world at large.
